  • Is there an offline mode?

We developed an offline mode a few years ago, which we decided to deprecate as Internet is becoming more and more reliable and as there are now many cheap and viable alternatives.

 

  • What are the back-up solution when there is no internet?

If you are concerned about Internet reliability, you can:

1. Set up a dual router and

a. Sign up two separate contracts with two different ISPs

b. keep an account and use a dial up connection.

2. Use a Tablet PC with a 3G connection like IPAD or Android Tablet PC

 

  • Does Posterita offer a "on-premise" version?

As a general rule of thumb, the answer is no. It is not cost-effective for our team to support different severs. However, for very large implementations, Posterita can make exceptions.

 

  • What kind of connectivity do I need to make Posterita work?

Posterita was optimized for ADSL line 512Kb. For each transaction you make, Posterita will only ask the minimum information.Our engineers made sure that all the pictures are cached in,i.e store locally on your POS to maximize the processing speed.

 

  • Does it work on Tablet PCs?

Yes of course. Posterita has released an IPAD version that can be found on the Apple Store. Also for Android, you can use the in-built browser to ring sales and manage your retail stores.

 

  • Which browsers work with Posterita?

Posterita works with all modern w3c compliant browsers like:

Safari 5.0

Firefox 7.0

Chrome 13.0

However, our engineers have optimized Posterita to work seamlessly with Mozilla Prism and Mozilla Firefox.

 

  • Can I upload and print my logo on a slip receipt?

Yes you can. There are some slip printers that support this feature of uploading logo.The logo can be uploaded on the printer's software and can then be printed on the receipts. However, you will need to check this first with your supplier.

  • Do you have an integrated webstore?

We have an alpha version of a webstore that we should release in mid 2012.
