Is Posterita really free?

Yes. The Free plan stays free, with the core POS and offline mode for a solo operator. Receipts carry a small Posterita watermark.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You can start using Posterita immediately without entering any payment information.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Your data is preserved either way.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards through our payment partner Paddle.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your data stays. Access to historical reports is scoped to your current plan's retention window.

Do you offer regional pricing?

Yes. Prices are tuned to the markets we serve. Developing markets — Kenya, Nigeria, India, Madagascar, Bangladesh, Ghana, Pakistan, Tanzania and others — start at $7/month for Starter, $19 for Growth, $39 for Business. Emerging markets — Mauritius, South Africa, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, UAE, Philippines, Vietnam and others — pay $12 / $29 / $59. The right tier is applied automatically at checkout based on your country. The Free plan is free everywhere we operate.

Where is Posterita available?

We serve shops and restaurants across Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. We don't currently sell into the US, UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore or Hong Kong — those markets have data-protection requirements we're not set up to serve yet. If you're outside our footprint and want to chat, drop us a line — we may have a partner referral.

Can I import my catalogue from another POS?

Yes. You can bring products, categories, customers, and opening stock counts in via CSV from the web console. The fastest path is to export from your current POS (Loyverse, Square, Shopify POS, Vend, a spreadsheet) and we'll help you map the columns on a short setup call. If you'd rather start fresh, the catalogue builder gives you barcoded products in a few minutes per category.

Do you support multi-currency?

Posterita prices in your local currency at the till, and bills you in USD for the subscription — applied automatically to the regional tier of the country you sign up from. We don't currently run a multi-currency price book for a single shop selling in two currencies (e.g. MUR and EUR side-by-side). If that's a hard requirement for you, tell us on the setup call — it's on the roadmap and we want to know it's needed.

How do you handle multi-store with a head office?

Each shop is its own account with its own till, stock, and reports. On the Business plan you can group accounts under an Organization (head office) with shared customers, a shared product catalogue published to each shop, inter-store stock transfers, unified loyalty points across brands, and a portfolio dashboard for the owner. Staff stay scoped to their assigned shop; owners see everything.
