Three things never stop, even on a bad-internet day
The cart accepts items. The receipt prints over USB or Bluetooth. The MRA fiscal stamp is queued locally and filed the moment the network returns. Nothing about the checkout experience depends on a live connection. See the offline checkout in detail.
Behind the scenes, the Android app stores everything in Room (a local SQLite database with 48 entities). The PWA does the same in IndexedDB through Dexie. The sync worker pushes the backlog every five minutes, or the moment the device comes back online — whichever happens first.
Why a global SaaS POS struggles here
